Congratulations to Sam James on reaching 150 senior games for Taroona FC.
Sam has been with the club for the majority of his playing career and we’re delighted to have him back this year. His experience and leadership has been invaluable within our relatively young squad.
I still remember back in 2009 Sam jumping over his back fence to join in senior training at Kelvedon Park. Even as a 15 year old he didn’t look out of place, and his talent was obvious.
It’s been a pleasure to see Sam’s transformation this season from a stalwart midfielder to a clinical striker - currently leading the league golden boot.
We look forward to seeing Sam in action back at Kelvedon next year and for many years to come!
