South Hobart Primary School visit

Writer: Taroona FCTaroona FC

Taroona FC Men's Championship Coach and SKiLLS Coach, Riley Pitchford, had a wonderful opportunity to engage with the young footballers at South Hobart Primary School recently. Thank you Riley for branching out and providing an incredible experience for the kids! Riley says:

"This week I got given an awesome opportunity to deliver a 1v1 masterclass for some budding pro footballers from South Hobart Primary School Soccer.

Initially we had underestimated that maybe 20 kids would attend; instead a staggering near 60 showed up!

As part of the masterclass players were exposed to new skill moves/‘tricks’, defending tactics and lots of 1v1 duels!

Despite the regular chaos accompanied by large groups with diverse ages, all of the players were super engaged, skilled and respectful. It was a privilege to work with them and I look forward to delivering more programs with South Hobart Primary School Soccer in the near future!

From the Taroona Football Club, I’d like to give a massive thanks to the South Hobart Primary School Soccer committee, in particular Jon Clark, for organising and hosting us."
