Tubb Returns in 2023

Taroona Football Club is excited to announce that Llewyn Tubb will return to the coaching realm in 2023. Tubb had a successful year with his squad, finishing second on the ladder, winning 15 of the 22 games played and losing only 3 games.

Our men's teams have a great lineup of coaches for the season ahead.

2023 Men's Coaches:

Southern Championship - Llewyn Tubb

Southern Championship 1 - Matt Chapman

Social Men's - Joe Collidge

U18 Men's - Pally Gee

We caught up with Llewyn to find out what brings him back to the coaching role again and what the team hopes to achieve in 2023.

Why did you decide to take the role on again?

Llewyn: Fairly simple really. I love the club and love working with the group of guys we have brought together. We have an excellent mixture of youth and experience, a positive culture and desire to improve. I want to continue to play whatever role I can in helping the players achieve the success they’re striving for.

After quite a successful year with the squad, what are your plans for 2023 for the boys?

Llewyn: We had some great performances last year, along with some challenges, and this allowed us to learn together. We’ll continue this process and further develop our playing style. A clear understanding of the way we want to play, our roles within the team and a competitive mindset will be key for us next season.
