We are excited to formally announce our WSL Coaching Staff for 2024! 2023's WSL Coach of the Year, Karen Wills, will be at the helm of the Women's program for another season with Riley "Livin' the dream" Pitchford by her side ⚽️
Taroona FC President, Sam Johnson, says: "We are excited that Karen and Riley have both decided to sign up for another year leading our Women's program. It is a huge coup for the Club to have them both onboard to support and challenge our group not just to be better players but better people."
Head Coach Willsy says: "It was satisfying to see the development of the squad last season. The players gained a lot of confidence from our improvement and are excited for 2024. We will retain most of our squad with only a few players leaving for travel or moving interstate. We will continue to focus on player development and implementing our game plan to build upon this progress."
Riley says: "I’m super excited to be given the opportunity to work with Karen and the senior women’s group again next season. The club culture at Taroona is like nothing else I have experienced and I feel so privileged to be involved in an environment full of nothing but support and respect."
